Police to release Uttarakhand Cyber Comics to raise awareness on cyber crimes

Uttarakhand police will launch “Uttarakhand Cyber Comics” to increase awareness among locals about cyber crimes. The characters of the comic will be generated with the help of artificial intelligence which is currently being developed by the cyber police station team of the Special Task Force (STF), said the deputy superintendent of police of cyber police, Ankush Mishra.
He said that Uttarakhand will be the first State in the country to use AI to develop a comic to spread awareness against cyber crimes. Informing about the comic, he said that stories will revolve around a fictional character called Super Cop Chakresh who will fight against cyber crimes with the help of his team. The cases and scenarios mentioned in the comics will be fictional. The comics will show various ways how criminals dupe people using technology and what can be done to not become a victim that will help to raise awareness among people reading them across the country.
The DSP added that the comics will be released every Monday which will be shared among people using social media platforms to make it available to maximum people. The STF senior superintendent of police Ankush Agrawal also said that cyber crimes are rapidly increasing and this initiative will enable awareness on how people fall prey to cyber crimes and what can be done to minimise the risk.
