A special campaign will be undertaken by the state police in December to dispose of the vehicles kept in police station compounds due to various reasons. The police will conduct this special campaign from December 1 to 31. Seized vehicles along with vehicles kept after being found to be unclaimed and those related to processed cases will be auctioned and handed over as per the regulations.
According to the police department, removing such vehicles from the police stations will also help in making the compounds clean. Further, the station in-charge/ Malkhana Moharrir concerned will also be rewarded for good work.
