Political parties denigrating Lord Ram will attain political moksha: Ramdev

Yoga Guru Swami Ramdev has said that the political parties which denigrate Lord Ram will attain their political moksha soon. He said that those who exploit Rama to polarise voters and spread hatred will not survive politically.

Addressing the media here on Thursday, Ramdev said that Lord Ram is the nation’s ideal and god. He was the ideal man, son, husband and king. Referring to ongoing litigations regarding Kashi Vishwanath and Krishna Janmbhoomi in Mathura he said, “The Hindus and Muslims may follow separate religions now but our ancestors are the same. Lord Ram is our ancestor. We are not asking for much. If our Muslim brothers voluntarily hand over Kashi Vishwanath and Mathura to the Hindus, it will set an example for the world to follow. There should not be any dispute on these issues. These cases should be resolved with mutual agreement,” he said.

Ramdev said that he and Acharya Balkrishna have been invited to the ceremonial installation of Ram Lalla in Ayodhya on January 22. A number of sages from Haridwar have been invited to this occasion, he said.

Regarding politics in the name of Lord Ram, he said, “The political parties playing politics in the name of Lord Ram to polarise the people and spread hatred, the ones denigrating the lord will soon achieve their political moksha. Any political party which denigrates Lord Ram will not survive.”
