Chief minister Pushkar Singh Dhami inaugurated the election campaign office of the Bharatiya Janata Party candidate from Roorkee, Pradeep Batra in Ramnagar here on Wednesday evening. Speaking on the occasion, the CM spoke of the development works done by the BJP government in Roorkee constituency and across the state in addition to the achievements of the Central government under Prime Minister Narendra Modi.He said that this Assembly election is a contest between good and bad deeds, good performers and exploiters. The sitting MLA and BJP candidate Batra spoke of the development works executed in the constituency including improvement of drainage system, widening of Ramnagar Road and other beautification and development works in the area. The Roorkee mayor Gaurav Goel and other local leaders of the BJP also expressed their views on the occasion. Congress councillor in the Municipal Corporation of Roorkee, Shakti Rana also joined the BJP during the programme.
