Portals of Badrinath Dham to open today

The portals of Badrinath Dham will open for pilgrims on Thursday. The procession of the devotees accompanying the idols of Lord Badrinath, Uddhav and the sacred seat of Adi Shankaracharya reached Badrinath from Pandukeshwar on Wednesday. Chief minister Pushkar Singh Dhami reached Badrinath on Wednesday afternoon after attending the portal opening ceremony in Kedarnath Dham.
The portals of Badrinath Dham will be ceremoniously opened at 6.15 AM on Thursday.
In Badrinath the CM Dhami reviewed the works of the ongoing Badrinath master plan at BRO guest house on Wednesday. The officials gave a presentation on the construction works, their status and technical aspects of the master plan to the CM. The plan involved strengthening of the basic infrastructure, extension of facilities, improvement in transportation and development of modern facilities.
CM Dhami said that all the works under the Badrinath master plan are being undertaken as per the vision of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. He said that the objective of the project is to make Badrinath Dham majestic, divine, safe and equipped with modern facilities. He directed the officers to regularly monitor the progress of the works of the master plan and ensure quick resolution of any issue causing delay in the execution of the project.
