Postal Dept to conduct quarterly postal court for their customer on September 27

India Post, Dehradun division will organise a quarterly postal court on September 27 at 4 PM to engage with its valued customers and address their needs effectively. The officials of the department said that this initiative has always been an annual event in Dehradun aiming to facilitate prompt resolution of customer complaints.

To ensure efficient assistance, it is required that complaints concerning the Department of Post are based on precise and thorough information. The officials have confirmed that this programme will take place this year as well. Public complaints related to postal services, particularly registry, parcels, BP, money orders and savings bank, are welcomed for review in the upcoming court session until September 26.

These complaints should be submitted, individually, in writing to the undersigned official at the Dehradun division, with ‘Complaint for Postal Court’ clearly stated at the top of the complaint letter. The officials further added that the postal court will not entertain complaints in the following scenarios: cases that the court has already resolved; cases currently in progress at the Consumer Forum; cases settled by the Directorate General of Posts; cases that the Postal Court has previously processed; or cases that lack clarity will not be accepted.
