Pran Pratishtha to be celebrated in temples across Tehri

The Pran Pratishtha in the Ram temple in Ayodhya will be celebrated in Tehri district with recitation of Hanuman Chalisa, Ramcharitmanas, Bhajans and Bhandaras in various temples of the district. The Narendranagar municipality has decorated the Radha Krishna temple and other sites in the city to mark the occasion.
The Tehri sub divisional magistrate Sandeep Kumar visited the Geeta Bhawan, Durga Mandir and other temples to check the sanitation and preparations for the occasion. The official found the level of sanitation in the temples satisfactory. Many temples have been decorated to mark the occasion. Apart from this, a special cleaning drive was conducted in the bazaars in the rural areas of the district under the district Panchayat. In Chamba, the municipality has been undertaking a special sanitation campaign in all the temples and other religious sites. On Sunday, the area around the Valmiki Mandir was cleaned with the participation of the local residents.
At Devprayag, Bhajan, Hawan and cultural programmes will be held at the historical Raghunath Mandir along with live broadcast of the Pran Pratishtha ceremony from Ayodhya on an LED screen. The ceremony will also be broadcast live along with cultural programmes at the Bauradi stadium in the district headquarter New Tehri. Apart from this, Deepotsav will be organised at the Surkanda Devi temple, Ma Kunjapuri Devi temple and Ma Chandrabani Devi temple in the district.
