Uttarakhand government has decided to make lyricist and chairman of Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) Prasoon Joshi as the State’s brand ambassador. On the orders of chief minister Pushkar Singh Dhami the State administration has issued formal orders for the same. The State administration has authorised the director general of Culture to enter a Memorandum of Understanding with Joshi in this regard.
A native of Uttarakhand, Joshi is the recipient of Padma Shree and is considered a specialist in marketing and communication apart from his writing skills.
