Preparations completed for Agniveer recruitment rally

In latest news from Uttarakhand, the Indian Army and the Pauri district administration are now gearing up for the Agniveer recruitment rally commencing on November 26 at the Gabbar Singh Camp in Kodia areas of Kotdwar town. After the on-site inspection of the recruitment ground by the Naib Tehesildar Kamal Singh Rathore, the district administration claimed to have nearly completed its preparation for the upcoming recruitment exercise. Rathore is said to have directed the officers concerned to have the damaged doors of the toilets at Kashirampur Talla promptly repaired. On the first day of the exercise, 714 aspirants from Dehradun, Pauri, Chamoli, Haridwar, Rudraprayag, Tehri and Uttarkashi would take part. In all, 3320 youngsters from eight districts of the Garhwal region are set to take part in the five-day recruitment rally that would end on December 1. They are expected to start reaching Kotdwar around Saturday evening. Sharing details, a senior district administration officer said that they have completed cleaning and barricading works and the applicants would allowed to go to the recruitment ground after their documents are checked. As per the army recruitment cell officers, the applicants are to reach the entrance of the recruitment ground at 4 am.
