Chief minister Trivendra Singh Rawat has directed the Uttarakhand Metro Rail, Urban Infrastructure and Buildings Construction Corporation (UkMRC) to prepare a detailed project report and work plan related to operation of Metro-Neo in Dehradun city. The CM issued this direction after viewing a presentation on Metro-Neo along with Urban Development minister Madan Kaushik, chief secretary Om Prakash and other senior officials on Friday evening. Stressing on the need for integrated efforts for facilitation of better resources for commuting in Dehradun city, the CM called for effective efforts in this direction.
The Finance secretary Amit Singh Negi, Urban Development secretary Shailesh Bagauli, UkMRC managing director Jitendra Tyagi and project director VK Mishra were also present on the occasion.
