Uttaranchal Press Club honoured Corona Warriors of Doon Medical College at a function held in the club premises on Sunday.
Addressing the gathering, Uttaranchal Press Club President Pradeep Guleria lauded the role of Doon Medical College staff in the fight against the Corona pandemic. He said the Doon Medical College staff put their own lives to risk for betterment of society. He in particular also praised Doon Medical College staff towards rendering treatment to the mediapersons infected with Covid.
Principal Doon Medical College Dr Ashutosh Sayana, Deputy Medical Superintendent and Corona State Coordinator Dr NS Khatri, Deputy Medical Superintendent Dr JV Gogoi, Senior PRO Mahendra Bhandari and PRO Sandeep Rana were prominent corona warriors honoured on the occasion.
A medical kit on part of Doon Medical College was also presented to the Press Club on the occasion. Press Club General Secretary Giridhar Sharma and Treasurer Vikas Gusain were prominent present on the occasion.
