PRI & SRM CCTR-Chennai ink MoU for clinical trial of Ayurveda medicines

Patanjali Research Institute (PRI) and Chennai-based SRM Centre for Clinical Trials and Research (SRM CCTR) inked a memorandum of understanding (MoU) IN Haridwar on Friday to facilitate clinical trial of Ayurvedic medicines. While Acharya Balkrishna was present for PRI the dean (Research) SRM CCTR Nitin M Nagarkar along with Satyajit Mahapatra and Saraswati Tripathi represented the Chennai-based institute.
Hailing the event, Balkrishna said that considered as a milestone in the revival of the ancient Ayurveda, it would ensure that the clinically researched and tested Ayurvedic medicines hit the global market in a big way.
Echoing the same optimism, Nagarkar said that the MoU would prove pivotal in providing Ayurvedic medicines with global recognition.
