The committee formed to probe the allegations levelled against additional director of secondary education, Pauri, Mahabir Singh Bisht is expected to submit its report by the end of this month. On the directions of secondary education director Seema Jaunsari, the committee was formed under additional director of primary education (Garhwal) BS Rawat with Pauri chief education officer Anand Bharadwaj and secondary education deputy director as members.
The State government had received complaints from Rakesh Kumar of Haridwar in April 2022 and Bimal Negi, former manager inter college, Jakhet, Pauri in March 2023 along with others against Bisht. They had alleged that he had played a role in transfers and promotions of teachers of non-governmental institutions against the rules.
The head of the probe committee BS Rawat told this correspondent that documents related to the complaints will be checked and the committee is expected to submit its report by the end of June.
