The Education department has started the process of recruitment on the 955 vacant posts of Block Resource Persons (BRPs) and Cluster Resource Persons (CRPs) under Samagra Shiksha Abhiyan (SSA) in the State. The Education minister Dhan Singh Rawat said that the eligible candidates can apply on the employment portal ‘Prayag’ of the department of Training and Employment. The process of registration on the portal started on Saturday and will end after two weeks. The appointments will be made on contractual basis and through the outsourcing agency.
The applicants can contact on the phone number 0135-2653665 and on the number 0135-4145780 of the outsource agency for necessary assistance and information. The minister said that only the candidates who are registered in any employment office of the State will be eligible for recruitment. The department has reserved 10 per cent of the posts for the retired teachers. For the BRPs Hindi, English, Science, Maths and Social Studies the minimum educational qualification will be graduation and Post Graduation with 55 per cent marks in the subject concerned.
For the CRPs, the candidate should have a PG degree in any subject with minimum 55 per cent marks. Apart from the PG degrees, the candidates must have a Bachelor of Education (B Ed) degree with CTET or UTET certificate. The retired teachers can also apply for these posts as 10 per cent of total vacancies are kept reserved for them.
The minimum and maximum age for these posts is 21 years and 42 years respectively while the maximum age for retired teachers is 65 years.
