Project GROW, launched in January at UPES, concludes

A community development project- Project GROW- concluded at UPES recently. According to the UPES office bearers, the project was launched in January as a joint initiative of the School for Life and CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility) of UPES and it was aimed at helping the administrative staffers with enhanced English language proficiency and communication skills.
UPES further said that the project was guided by the CEO – Asia Pacific, GUS Global Services, Sharad Mehra and the cluster head, School for Life, Gaurav Mishra. This project was built upon the success of Project Swavalamban which focused on making 40 women housekeeping staff self-reliant through English language training and financial literacy.
Mehra in his address emphasised the importance of perseverance and motivation in overcoming language learning challenges.
In all, 22 individuals participated in the project supported by 10 faculty members and staff members from various schools and departments conducting sessions.
