Puja to be offered at Badrinath, Kedarnath to mark birthdays of Modi & Dhami

In latest Uttarakhand news, special puja programmes will be performed in all the major shrines, including Kedarnath and Badrinath, for two consecutive days to mark the birthdays of the chief minister Pushkar Singh Dhami and the Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Informing this, the president of Badrinath Kedarnath Temple Committee (BKTC) Ajendra Ajay said that puja would be offered to the deities with prayers for their long, healthy lives. Meanwhile, a day before his birthday, on return from his Delhi trip, CM Dhami went to the Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose Girls’ Hostel in Bhaniawala in Dehradun. He spent some time among these girls, cut a cake, gave them gifts, had meals with them and planted a sapling.
