Kendriya Vidyalaya ONGC celebrated the Republic Day at its premises on Friday with enthusiastic participation of teachers and students. The tricolour was hoisted by the principal Sushil Kumar Dhiman. The students, dressed in tricolour attire, presented a musical performance themed on the national song Vande Mataram.
The principal in his address dwelt on the Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s vision of Amrit Kaal and Viksit Bharat and exhorted all to contribute their mite in materialising the vision of developed India by 2047. A string of cultural programmes based on the importance of the day was staged as part of the celebration.
