Radha Raturi takes oath as new CIC of Uttarakhand

 Former chief secretary Radha Raturi assumed the charge of the new chief information commissioner of Uttarakhand on Saturday. She was administered the oath of office and secrecy by the governor lieutenant general (retd) Gurmit Singh at Raj Bhawan.

The governor also administered oaths to senior journalist Kushlanand and former assistant income tax commissioner Devendra Kumar Arya as the new information commissioners.

 The ceremony was attended by chief minister Pushkar Singh Dhami, cabinet ministers Satpal Maharaj, Ganesh Joshi, Subodh Uniyal, former CM Ramesh Pokhriyal ‘Nishank’, MLA Savita Kapoor, Information commissioners Yogesh Bhatt and DS Kunwar, director general of police Deepam Seth, former DGP Anil Raturi, principal secretary R K Sudhanshu and other officers of administration and police.
