Former president of Congress, Rahul Gandhi would give a boost to the election campaign of the party in Uttarakhand on February 10. He will address two rallies at Manglaur in Haridwar and Jageshwar in Almora district on the day. By addressing these rallies Rahul Gandhi would try to boost the prospects of the party candidates in both the Garhwal and Kumaon regions of the state. The Congress party believes that his rally in Manglaur would affect all the 11 seats of Haridwar. His meeting in Jageshwar would have a bearing in all 29 seats of Kumaon region of the state. In Manglaur Qazi Nizamuddin is the candidate of Congress while former speaker Govind Singh Kunjwal is in the field from Jageshwar on Congress party ticket.
