RaGa’s Nyay Yatra against the injustice of BJP govt: Uniyal

The spokesperson of All India Congress Committee Chayanika Uniyal has said that in the last 10 years the BJP government has inflicted a major blow on the democracy and constitution in the country. She said that the BJP government has done injustice to the famers, youngsters, women and all sections of the society and the former Congress president Rahul Gandhi will register the protest against this injustice during his ‘ Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra’ starting from January 14. The Congress leader will start his 6,713 km long Yatra from Manipur. The 66 day long Yatra will cover 110 districts of 15 states and culminate in Mumbai on March 20.
Interacting with the media persons at Rajiv Bhawan here on Thursday, Uniyal said that in the last 10 years there has been a threefold increase in unemployment. She informed that in the year 2012 there were one crore unemployed youth in India which has now increased to four crores. She said the farmers are being deceived by the BJP government. Uniyal said that the farmers had to wage a war for one year against the black farm laws. The government ultimately took back the black laws but in the agitation lives of 750 farmers were lost. She said that the Bilkis Bano case has exposed that the BJP government protects the rapists. Uniyal said that crime against women has increased under the BJP rule. The data of NCRB suggests that in the year 2022, 51 FIRs were registered every hour. The BJP has a track record of protecting the offenders such as Brijbhushan Sharan Singh and Kuldeep Senger. The Congress leader said that the BJP government has put the national security in jeopardy by giving a clean chit to China on border intrusion. She said that with their rhetoric, PR stunts and events the BJP leaders have destroyed the social, economic and political life of people of the country. Uniyal said that the people of the country are reeling under the onslaught of rising prices but the government is paying no attention. The Congress leader also accused the Modi government for adopting crony capitalism where selected industrialists get all the favours.
