The chief spokesperson of Uttarakhand Congress Garima Dasauni has claimed that the nomination of Rahul Gandhi from Raebareli in Uttar Pradesh has created a major impact on the politics of UP and the country. Dasauni, who was appointed as the media in-charge of UP by the All India Congress Committee (AICC) said that an inclination of people towards INDIA bloc is clearly visible in UP. She said that the BJP is fast losing ground and the desperation is visible in the speeches of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Dasauni said that in the campaign for the first two phases, the PM in his 56 public meetings had given a slogan of ‘400 Par’ but now this slogan is missing in his speeches. She said that the people have understood that giving more than 400 seats to BJP will hurt reservation.
Dasauni claimed that the change in PM’s tone has occurred due to the manifesto of Congress. The five Nyays and 25 guarantees of the party have found a place in the heart of the people.
The Congress leader said that PM has understood that BJP is facing a defeat in the Lok Sabha 2024 elections due to which he is now banking on the politics of Hindu and Muslim. “While the PM is raking up religion, Congress president Mallikarjun Kharge and Rahul Gandhi are talking about their Nayay Patra. The Congress leaders are taking up the issue of unemployment and price rise and offering solutions by their manifesto,’’ she said.
