In latest news from Dehradun, the chief minister Pushkar Singh Dhami directed the officers concerned to have all the damaged roads across the State repaired after the monsoon season is over. He said that all these repairing works should be completed in one month. He chaired a high-level meeting at his residence attended by the chief secretary Radha Raturi and others.
Besides, with the kanwar yatra– scheduled to begin on July 22- drawing near, CM stressed on all possible steps being taken to ensure that drinking water, health and sanitation facilities are provided to the pilgrims.
He further said that construction projects should be taken up for the mountainous areas in accordance with their holding capacity.
