To provide assistance to the pilgrims and people stranded in the State due to roadblocks triggered by heavy rains the Uttarakhand government has released special helpline numbers. The helpline numbers are 9411112985, 01352717380 and 013512685.
Apart from them queries for help can be made on the whatApp number 9411112780. Information about people stranded in neighbouring Himachal Pradesh (HP) can be received on these helpline numbers.
Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami has appealed to the people of the State and pilgrims intending to visit the State to avoid undertaking journeys. The CM said that he himself is monitoring the status of roads and rains in different parts of the State from the district magistrates (DM) and the State Disaster control room. The district administration and the State Disaster Response Force (SDRF) have also been kept on high alert.
