Rainy spell over, temperatures set to rise again from today

The rainy spell over in the State, the temperatures are set to rise again especially in the plains. The State meteorological centre has forecast that dry weather is likely to prevail in all districts of the State on Wednesday.

The provisional State capital Dehradun is forecast to witness a mainly clear to partly cloudy sky. The maximum and minimum temperatures are likely to be about 38 degrees Celsius and 22 degrees Celsius respectively in Dehradun today.

The maximum and minimum temperatures recorded in various parts of the State on Tuesday were 37.4 degrees Celsius and 21.2 degrees Celsius respectively in Dehradun, 37.8 degrees Celsius and 22.8 degrees Celsius in Pantnagar, 25.7 degrees Celsius and 11.9 degrees Celsius in Mukteshwar and 26.4 degrees Celsius and 14 degrees Celsius in New Tehri. Significant rain was not reported in any part of the State on Tuesday.
