Ramdev announces major plans of Patanjali for NCR

Yoga Guru Swami Ramdev said that Patanjali will soon bring out a big service scheme in the National Capital Region. The institution is planning a residential global gurukul for 10,000 children, global university for one lakh students and day boarding school for upto 25,000 children in the NCR. Youngsters from more than 200 nations will study here and return to their countries as ambassadors of India, the teaching of Rishis, Vedas and Sanatan Dharma. The role of women will be vital in this initiative.
He said this at a large women conclave jointly organised at Indira Gandhi stadium in New Delhi under his leadership by the University of Patanjali, Bharat Swabhiman (women’s wing) and W20 an official engangement group under G20. Ramdev gave tips on Yoga to the women for physical, mental and spiritual health. According to the event organisers, about 5,500 women from across the country attended the event.
Speaking on the occasion he said, “The International Yoga Day will be celebrated globally on June 21. Before this, we wanted to start Yoga from Delhi and send the message that Yoga will be universal and the global presitege of Sanatan Dharma will also rise along with it. The women of India have played the most important role in keeping Sanatan Dharma alive.The India of 10 years in the future will be the biggest economic, spiritual, cultural and strategic power in the world. India will lead the whole world and women will have the most important role in building a healthy, capable, cultured and grand India,” he said.
Patanjali Yog Samiti, chief woman central in-charge Sadhvi Acharya Devpriya also addressed the gathering on the occasion.
