Addressing the fourth day of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Katha being held in University of Patanjali in Haridwar, Yoga Guru Ramdev said on Friday that all the mothers of India must take inspiration from Jijabai, the mother of Shivaji, with this country being lauded as the land of brave mothers. “Shivaji’s life is an inspirational tale of overcoming obstacles and struggles to protect the Sanatan Dharma,” he said and added that the imperialists, capitalist and market forces, out to establish monopoly over the world, must be resisted with nationalistic zeal. He further stressed that the outdated laws that came into effect during the British rule must be replaced with new laws which would cater to the culture and the needs of the nation.
Swami Govind Dev while addressing the gathering spoke on the relevance of Kshatriya Dharma in the present age and said that the true warriors are always ready to make the supreme sacrifice to protect the country’s borders and culture.
Narrating the saga of valour Shivaji embodied, he said that despite setbacks and challenges, he had never deviated from his Kshatriya Dharma and kept on fighting against the invaders.
