Raphael marks 67th founder’s day with cultural performances & inclusive celebrations

The Raphael Ryder Cheshire International Centre celebrated its 67th founder’s day on Sunday with enthusiasm.

Speaking on the occasion, chairman of Shri Hemkund Sahib Management Trust,  Narendrajit Singh Bindra appreciated Raphael’s continued commitment to inclusion and community service.

Welcoming the gathering, CEO Priyo Lall highlighted the founding vision of creating a world where every individual is treated with dignity and respect and allowed to lead a meaningful life. Reflecting on Raphael’s journey, she noted that as the organisation approaches its 70th year, it carries the responsibility not only to preserve this legacy but to strengthen and expand it for the future. The celebration saw enthusiastic participation from 14 schools, including both mainstream and special schools. The event featured a series of exhibitions showcasing live vocational activities such as cooking, diya painting, paper bag making and the newly introduced stitching unit. A photo exhibition offered glimpses into the daily lives and achievements of students across the school and residential programmes.
