The Power minister Harak Singh Rawat chaired a meeting attended by the management of of UJVN Limited, Uttarakhand Power Corporation Limited (UPCL), Power Transmission Corporation of Uttarakhand Limited (PTCUL) and the representatives of Uttrakhand Vidyut Adhikari Karmchari Sanyukt Sangharsh Morcha (UVAKSSM).
Discussions were held regarding the demands of UVAKSSM in the meeting and the views of both the management and the employees were heard in detail. The Morcha representatives put up the logics in support of their demands. The minister directed the management of the three corporations to take timely and positive actions on the matters of employees which can be solved at the management level.
Managing director of UPCL and PTCUL, Deepak Rawat, managing director of UJVNL, Sandeep Singhal, Finance and Human Resources directors of all three power corporations along with UVAKSSM representatives were also present in the meeting.
