A record 2,16,519 aspirants have applied for 854 posts of group ‘ C’ in the Uttarakhand government. The Uttarakhand Subordinate Services Selection Commission (USSSC) would conduct examinations to select the candidates for these posts.
The secretary of the USSSC Santosh Badoni said on Thursday that the examination would be the biggest ever competitive examination in the history of the state in terms of the number of the candidates. He said that the examination would be held in three shifts on December 4 and 5 and the candidates can download details from the website www.sssc.uk.gov.in. He said that the commission is fully prepared to conduct the examination and it has identified the examination centres where the examination would be held.
