Record number of delegates expected in World Ayurved Congress

The 10th World Ayurved Congress and Arogya Expo-2024 commencing in Dehradun on December 12 is set to create a record of the number of delegates attending it. As per the organisers more than 6,500 delegates have registered for the event. A total of 5,102 delegates had attended last year’s Congress held in Goa. Enthused by the good response the organisers are confident that the attendance in this year’s Congress will create a new record.
The first World Ayurveda Congress was held in Kochi in the year 2002. The AYUSH secretary Ravinath Raman confirmed that more than 6,500 delegates have so far registered for the event. He said that every effort is being created to make the event memorable and unprecedented.
The organisers are also keeping a close eye on the number of foreign delegates registering for the event. The 9th World Congress held in Goa was attended by 295 foreign delegates. It is expected that a record number of foreign delegates will attend the Dehradun Congress.
The World Ayurved Congress will be organised at Parade Ground Dehradun from December 12 to 15. The experts of Ayurved and other stakeholders will deliberate on different aspects of Ayurved during the Congress. The theme of the 10th Ayurved Congress is ‘digital Ayurved’.
