Reena Joshi takes charge as CEO of SHA

IAS officer Reena Joshi took charge as the chief executive officer of the State Health Authority (SHA) of Uttarakhand here on Thursday. She received updates on the implementation of several key health initiatives, including the Ayushman Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana, the Atal Ayushman Uttarakhand Yojana and the State Government health scheme. She was also briefed about the Ayushman Bharat Digital Mission that is operated by the authority.
Officials further added that during the meeting which was chaired by SHA chairman Arvind Singh Hyanki, Joshi was provided with detailed information about various aspects of the Pradhan Mantri Ayushman Bharat Jan Arogya Yojana and the State Government health scheme.
Discussions also took place regarding the special Ayushman Vaya Vandana Card, which offers benefits to senior citizens aged 70 years and above. Additionally, they addressed the cashless treatment facility, which provides coverage of up to Rs 1.50 lakh for road accident victims treated in designated hospitals, in collaboration with the Ministry of Road Transport and Highways.
