In latest Uttarakhand news, with a few days left for the campaigning to end for the Bageshwar assembly by-poll slated on September 5, the State cabinet minister Rekha Arya addressed a number of public meetings within the constituency limits and canvassed for the BJP candidate Parvati Dass. Invoking the deceased minister and MLA from this constituency Chandan Ram Dass, she exhorted the people to vote overwhelmingly for his widow who, if elected, would carry forward the developmental works initiated by the former minister. She said that the former minister’s death was a great blow and an irreparable loss for her party.
