Reliance Nippon Life Insurance has been felicitated with National Energy Conservation Award by the Bureau of Energy Efficiency (Government of India, Ministry of Power) at the National Energy Conservation Awards (NECA) 2023. The executive director (ED) and chief executive officer (CEO) of the company Ashish Vohra received the award from the Union Cabinet Minister of Power and New and Renewable Energy RK Singh.
Commenting on this recognition, Vohra said that the drive towards energy conservation had started in their company four years ago more as a cost reduction exercise but over time their administrative team had enhanced the scope to reduce carbon footprint through applying newer solutions like IOT -based remote control of devices in branches.
