Dry weather forecast in State, maximum & minimum temperatures in Doon set to rise

The State will experience some relief from cold conditions today with the temperatures expected to rise slightly on Saturday. The State meteorological centre has forecast that dry weather is likely to prevail in the districts today. The provisional State capital Dehradun is forecast to experience mainly clear sky with mist likely to occur during the morning hours. The maximum and minimum temperatures are likely to be about 23 degrees Celsius and seven degrees Celsius respectively in Dehradun on Saturday. The maximum and minimum temperatures forecast for the city are about three degrees above the minimum temperature recorded here on Friday.
The maximum and minimum temperatures recorded in various parts of the State on Friday were 20.4 degrees Celsius and 4.4 degrees Celsius respectively in Dehradun, 12.2 degrees Celsius and seven degrees Celsius in Pantnagar, 17.6 degrees Celsius and 3.8 degrees Celsius in Mukteshwar and 17 degrees Celsius and 4.8 degrees Celsius respectively in New Tehri.
