Remains of man & car recovered 2 years after drowning

In latest news from Uttarakhand, after two years, the remains of Archit Bansal (32), resident of Ganganagar, Rishikesh, whose car with him and his three-year-old son Raghav in it drowned in Chila Shakti nahar, was recovered in skeletal form. The incident happened on April 2, 2022. Now, the water of the canal has been drained off due to repairing work and the car along with the human skeleton was recovered. Notably, the body of Raghav had been retrieved but the body of Archit remained missing along with his car.

The car became visible after water level receded and SDRF team assisted by police team pulled the car out with the help of crane. The inspector SDRF Ravindra Sajwan said that human skeleton was handed over to police for inquiry.
