Tirath Singh Rawat refrained from facing me in Gangotri by election- Col Kothiyal
The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) has said that the repeated change in leadership in Uttarakhand by BJP is a cruel joke on the people of the state. Addressing the media persons here on Saturday the state in charge of the AAP Dinesh Mohania said that it appears that the BJP has made Uttarakhand its laboratory. He said the BJP in the assembly elections of 2017 had promised to give a stable government in Uttarakhand but after winning the election the party has thrown this promise into the dustbin and has changed three CMs in four and half years. He said that the BJP is taking excuse in the constitutional obligation for resignation of CM.
The senior leader of AAP Col ( retd) Ajay Kothiyal said that the CM Tirath Singh Rawat got scared when he was challenged by the AAP in Gangotri. He claimed that the BJP had conducted an internal survey in Gangotri which showed that the CM would lose from there. He said that the CM is now taking refuge in the constitutional crisis for his resignation.
Targeting both the Congress and BJP for changing the CMs regularly the AAP leaders said that in the last 20 years both these parties have done nothing but changing the CM. They said that both BJP and Congress are playing friendly matches in Uttarakhand and there is a secret deal between them to loot the state in turns. Kothiyal said that the people of the state have understood the designs of BJP and Congress and have made up their minds to show exit to both these parties.
