The State administration has reshuffled the responsibilities of nine Indian Police Service (IPS) officers. According to the order issued on Friday, inspector general, Procurement and Maintenance, Vimmi Sachdeva has been made the IG of Police Telecommunication/Fire Service while Kumaon zone IG Ridhim Agrawal has been made the IG, Crime, Law and Order/CCTNS/SCRB.
Similarly, Telecommunications IG Krishna Kumar VK has been made the IG of Traffic/GRP while IG, Cyber Crime/STF/ANTF/PAC/ FSL director and secretary of Police Sports Control Board Nilesh Anand Bharne has been relieved of his post at IG of PAC and Police Sports Control Board secretary. The IG, Training, State Human Rights Commission Anant Shankar Takawale has also been given the task of IG, CID while IG Crime, Law and Order, CCTNS, SCRB
Sunil Kumar Meena has been relieved of these posts and made the IG of Personnel, PAC and secretary of Police Sports Control Board. Further, the IG, Kumbh Mela 2027 Yogendra Singh Rawat has also been given the charge of IG, State Disaster Response Force while SDRF IG Nivedita Kukreti has been relieved of this post and handed over the responsibility of Kumaon zone IG. IG Barinderjeet Singh has been made the IG, HQ/Procurement and Maintenance.
