Revolver misfires, bullet hits leg, actor Govinda hospitalised, out of danger

Fans of the actor Govinda heaved sigh of relief after the actor himself issued a statement, saying that doctors have removed the bullet and he was fine. Earlier, he had sustained leg injuries after his revolver accidentally had gone off at his Mumbai residence when he was about to leave for the airport. The doctors who treated him at the hospital where he was admitted declared him out of danger after the bullet removal surgery.  He is now recuperating at home.

The manager of the 60-year-old actor Shashi Sinha said that when he was leaving for the airport to catch a plane for Kolkata for a show the trigger of his licensed revolver was accidentally pushed as he was keeping it in cupboard. A bullet hit his leg.
