In latest Uttarakhand news, the Rishikesh-Badrinath National Highway was blocked at several places following heavy rain lashing Chamoli district in the night. The blockage of this important NH is affecting vehicular movement, inconveniencing the people. It is learnt that the NH has remained blocked at Chhinka, Pipaltoti, Pagalnala, Belakoti and Nandprayag. It is further learnt that work on restoring the road is underway being monitored by the senior government officials concerned.
