Roorkee Institute of Technology (RIT) got the highest 4- Star ranking by Institution Innovation Council (IIC), Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD), Government Of India. It was given on the basis of their research work done during the year 2020-21. RIT is the only institute from Uttarakhand to get this rating. The star-rating is given to the technical institutions every year on the basis of their innovative work and RIT has remained at the top level for the last three years. The Managing Trustees and the Director of RIT congratulated the faculty members and applauded the efforts of Prof. Gaurav Chaturvedi, Coordinator of MRHD’s IIC Programme.
