A car accident took place early morning in Rudraprayag on Tuesday when a Swift Dzire ( UK- 11 A 9741) which was reportedly coming from Delhi towards Karnprayag, crashed uncontrollably around Sirobgad area (in Rudraprayag border). It went into the ditch about 50 meters down the road. According to the sources, the Rudraprayag Police while carrying out the rescue work sent all the people who were in the accident prone vehicle to the district hospital. All 5 members in the vehicle were safe, except one woman who had minor injuries. The information of the accident had been given to the their family members.
