In latest news from Dehradun, a daring day-light robbery occurred in the city a day before Dhanteras celebration. It is learnt that a group of armed robbers barged into a jewellery shop located on the upscale Rajpur Road and by keeping the employees and security guard captive, they looted all the jewellery items worth crores of rupees and some cash and then fled. According to the shop employees, the robbers came as soon as the shop opened, at around 10.30 am. Upon being informed, a team from the local police station came and started investigation. But police have not yet disclosed anything about the investigation now underway.
