Routes2Roots launches ‘Rhythms & Ragas’ – a three-book series celebrating Indian classical arts

Routes2Roots, a Delhi-based non-profit organisation dedicated to promoting art, culture and heritage, in association with Parragon Publishing, unveiled a three-book series titled Rhythms & Ragas at a special launch event held at the India Habitat Centre. The books, which explore Kathak, Hindustani classical vocal and Bharatanatyam, aim to educate and inspire readers about the rich traditions of Indian art forms.
Nainital-Udham Singh Nagar MP Ajay Bhatt was present on the occasion along with the founders of Routes2Roots, Rakesh Gupta and Tina Vachani along with Parragon Publishing managing director Vineet Sharma artists and culture enthusiasts.
The Rhythms & Ragas series comprises three books—Kathak by Richa Jain, Hindustani Classical Vocal by Anirban Bhattacharya and Bharatanatyam by Varun Khanna. The books delve into each art form’s origins, evolution, history, and traditions. Commenting on the launch, Gupta said, “For over 20 years, Routes2Roots has been dedicated to imparting cultural education to students in India and abroad. Launching these three books is a significant step in our ongoing commitment to fostering a deeper appreciation and understanding of Indian art forms. We hope Rhythms & Ragas reaches millions of readers worldwide, inspiring them to explore and cherish our rich artistic heritage.”
