The district magistrate Nitin Bhadoria administered the oath of office and secrecy to the newly elected mayor of the Rudrapur municipal corporation Vikas Sharma at a programme held in Gandhi Park. Later, the mayor administered the same to the newly elected councillors. Among the prominent people present was the State
Sports, Youth Welfare and Women Empowerment minister Rekha Arya. She said that the new mayor, true to his name, would leave no stone unturned in the all-round development of Rudrapur, adding that the double engine government would help him by all means to boost the town’s development.
