Sadak Chhap comment: Pratap demands apology from Bhatt

The vice president of Uttarakhand Congress, Dhirendra Pratap has said that the Bharatiya Janata Party State president Mahendra Bhatt should tender an apology to the statehood activists for his derogatory comment.

He said that the call for the Gairsain march was given by Statehood activists and other organisations and Bhatt had termed them “Sadak Chhap” which is unfortunate. Pratap who also is the chief patron of Chhinhit Rajya Andolankari Sanyukt Samiti, said that Bhatt’s comment is senseless and childish and he should seek apology from thousands of statehood activists of Uttarakhand. He said that Utatrakhand was created as a result of sacrifice and struggle of the statehood activists.

 Pratap threatened that he will appeal to the statehood activists to publically boycott Bhatt if he continues to use such vitriolic language for them.
