A safety wall built at government inter college at Jugna Brahmakhal in Uttarkashi district has collapsed a mere 10 days after being constructed. The science lab and virtual lab of the school are also reported to be at risk following the collapse of the wall built at a cost of about Rs seven lakh. The teachers of the school and the local residents have questioned the quality of the construction work and demanded that the wall should be built afresh. The school principal has blamed negligence of the officials of the department concerned and inferior quality of work for the collapse of the wall.
