Saffron party-backed criminals should face encounter – Garima

In latest news from Dehradun, the State Congress’s chief spokesperson Garima Mehra Dasauni tore into the Pushkar Singh government on the law and order front, saying that the law-enforcing machinery has completely crumbled.
Citing the recent encounter killing of the prime accused of a jewellery showroom heist in Roorkee, she said that while the police were looking for him elsewhere he had stayed put in Haridwar itself, hoodwinking them. “This reveals complete failure of the police administration and its intelligence,” she said.
“If encounter is the only way left with the Dhami government having lost faith in the justice system, why it is not taking place on the ruling party’s leaders and activists who have committed heinous crimes on minor girls and women and siphoned off money in multiple scams? They should also face wrath of encounter,” she said.
