Sainya Dham to get ready in November : Joshi

Cabinet minister Ganesh Joshi has directed the officers concerned to ensure that the work on Sainya Dham (war memorial) in Guniyalgaon gets completed by the month of November this year. The minister gave the order during his inspection of the under construction Sainnya Dham on Tuesday. The minister was informed that 50 per cent construction work of the war memorial is complete. Joshi directed the officers to expedite the work while ensuring the quality of the construction work. He said that the pace of the work should be increased and the memorial should be ready till the month of November. Joshi said that Sainya Dham is being constructed as per the vision of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. “Along with the State government this is also my dream project. Chief minister Pushkar Singh Dhami also has a special interest in this project,’’ he said.
The minister informed that the budget for construction of Sainya Dham has now increased to Rs 98 crore from Rs 58 crore. He added that the Sainya Dham is getting constructed after studying different war memorials of the country. The minister informed that temples of Baba Harbhajan Singh and Baba Jaswant Singh will be constructed in the Sainya Dham and the main gate of the Dham would be dedicated to the first Chief of Defence Staff (CDS) late General Bipin Rawat. Secretary Deependra Chaudhary, Veteran Welfare director brigadier (retd) Amrit Lal, UPNL managing director brigadier (retd) JNS Bisht and others were present on the occasion.
