CMO conducts surprise inspection of two health centres in Tehri district
The chief medical officer Dr Sanjay Jain conducted a surprise inspection of Pilkhi health centre and Budhakedar health centre in Tehri district. He issued orders to withhold one day’s salary of five employees who were found absent from the Pilkhi health centre during his visit.
The CMO reached the health centres on Saturday to ascertain the ground reality of health facilities. Dr Jain said that five employees were found to be absent from the Pilkhi health centre.Instructions have been issued to hold their one day’s salary. The CMO has instructed Dr Shyamvijay, medical officer in-charge of Pilkhi, to complete the construction of the under-construction X-ray room soon so that the people of the area can get the benefit of the X-ray facility. He said that all the staff members including the doctor were found present in the Budhakedar hospital. He further stressed that negligence will not be tolerated.
