During the ‘Bollywood Queens Special’ episode of Super Dancer Chapter 4, Arshiya Sharma enthralled the judges with a rendition of one of Rekha’s most iconic dance performances in Hindi cinema

This week on the ‘Bollywood Queens Special’ episode of Super Dancer Chapter 4, Arshiya Sharma, a contestant from Jammu, showcased a mesmerising dance performance on Rekha’s iconic song Salaam-e-Ishq Meri Jaan. The judges were compelled to give a standing ovation for the beautiful act.

Judge Malaika Arora said, “Arshiya did a brilliant job. This is a very difficult song. Rekha ji has a superior quality about her and it is not easy for a child to perform with such maturity. I feel blessed and fortunate to be a part of this show and witness such ethereal performances.”

Terence Lewis added with a wide smile, “You look just like another famous actor. Apart from looking beautiful, your dance moves are spot on as well. You have to let us know, Arshiya, whether you plan on becoming an actor…” Arshiya couldn’t stop smiling after receiving such extravagant comments from the judges.

Geeta Kapur was thrilled to witness her performance and expressed that Arshiya is naturally gifted and she has an exceptional mentor in Super Guru Anuradha. She further stated, “People think Bollywood dance is the easiest form of dance, but I feel it is the most difficult one out there. It is an amalgamation of many things like expressions, movements, grace and beauty. To express as much as required is an art. Today, we are giving a special tribute to Bollywood queens and they all have this specialty, a penchant for keeping viewers glued to the screen. And today Arshiya did just that, we were on the edge of our seats for the duration of her performance. And I am sure that those who would be watching this episode on their television sets are sure to be glued to their screens.”

(To catch Arshiya’s performance, watch the show today and on Sunday at 8 pm on Sony Entertainment Television.)
